Grand Forks County (trfnews.i234.me) — Ian D. Tebay, of Grafton, North Dakota, is facing serious felony and misdemeanor charges related to a complex theft scheme involving heavy machinery and vehicles across Minnesota and North Dakota.
Details from the criminal complaint:
According to court documents, Tebay admitted to stealing a Bobcat skid steer from Oslo, Minnesota, and then loading it onto a stolen flatbed trailer taken from Grand Forks.
He then drove the stolen Bobcat and trailer to a victim’s property where he used the skid steer to load a Ford Explorer—also belonging to the victim—onto the trailer. Tebay then transported the stolen trailer and Ford Explorer back to Grand Forks.
