Manvel Fire Department Leads Response
The Manvel Fire Department was the lead agency at the scene.
Crews worked to contain the fire and protect nearby property.
The cause of the fire has not been released.
Officials have not said how many people were inside the home.
TRF News will update this story when more facts are confirmed.

Water Had To Be Hauled In
Firefighters faced a major challenge at this location.
There is no nearby hydrant system for emergency water supply.
Because of that, water had to be hauled to the scene.
Several departments were called in to move water with tanker trucks.
Those assisting included Thompson, Gilby, Emerado, and Niagara.
This type of response is often called a “tanker shuttle.”
It can require many trips to keep enough water flowing.
No Injuries Reported
At this time, there are no reports of injuries.
Damage to the home is described as heavy.
It is not clear if the home is a total loss.
Investigators may review the scene once conditions are safe.
