Grand Forks (trfnews.i234.me) — A Grand Forks couple is now at the center of a large drug case that also includes a child endangerment count.

Court files from late 2025 show that Jesus Guadalupe Perez and Erika Flores Perez have pleaded not guilty. The charges follow an Interstate 29 traffic stop and two search warrant raids.

Jesus and Erika Perez are charged in linked drug and child endangerment cases. They are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

Investigators with the Grand Forks Narcotics Task Force stopped a vehicle on I-29 in July 2025. Jesus, Erika, and their 2-year-old child were inside, according to the complaint.

The stop led officers to seek search warrants for the couple’s home and a second site described as a “stash house.” A judge later approved the warrants, and teams carried them out.

At the two locations, officers report finding over four pounds of marijuana. They also list more than 130 grams of methamphetamine, almost 14 grams of cocaine, and more than seven grams of fentanyl. THC products were recovered as well.

Prosecutors say the amount and packaging show the drugs were meant for sale. They allege the couple used both sites to store and move the drugs.

Jesus Guadalupe Perez faces seven felony counts. Those include several charges of possession with intent to deliver different drugs, plus child endangerment.

Erika Flores Perez faces six felony counts. She is accused of conspiring to possess with intent to deliver the drugs and of child endangerment.

The cases are moving through Grand Forks County District Court. People can check case numbers, hearing dates, and documents through the North Dakota court system’s public access page at ndcourts.gov.

Drug officials say fentanyl and meth are driving many overdose deaths in the region. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and other agencies share drug facts and warning signs at dea.gov.

All charges against Jesus and Erika Perez remain only allegations. Both are presumed innocent unless a court finds them guilty.
