Court documents say Marcelino Serna was stopped by law enforcement on December 16 in Grafton, North Dakota. The stop was listed as a traffic stop in the case filing.
According to the documents, Serna agreed to let officers search his vehicle. During the search, authorities say they found about 32 grams of methamphetamine.
Investigators also reported finding a digital scale. Police say that the item was seized as evidence. A pistol was also seized, according to the documents.
