Gary Woman Charged After Mahnomen County Stop

MAHNOMEN COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) — Christine Ann Dalby of Gary, Minnesota, is facing a gross misdemeanor charge in Mahnomen County District Court.

The charge follows a traffic stop on Highway 200 on February 16, 2026. Court records say Dalby was driving westbound at about 7:16 p.m. when law enforcement stopped the vehicle.

According to the complaint, the vehicle had a right-side taillight that was not working. The stop happened in Mahnomen County, Minnesota.

Charge Filed In Court

Dalby is charged with driving after cancellation as being inimical to public safety. The charge is listed under Minnesota Statute 171.24.

The court file number is 44-CR-26-172. The prosecutor’s file number is 0440029643.

The complaint says Dalby’s driving privileges had been canceled or denied. It also says she had notice, or reason to know, about that status.

Possible Penalty

The offense is listed as a gross misdemeanor. If convicted, Dalby could face up to 364 days in jail.

She could also face a fine of up to $3,000. The court may also impose both penalties.

The case remains active in the Minnesota District Court. A criminal complaint is not a conviction.

Dalby is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
