Frazee (trfnews.i234.me) — A 19-year-old man was shot and killed in a Frazee home invasion.
Court documents say Bryson Andrew May was killed at his home on West Ash Avenue. The documents describe the break-in as a planned robbery.
What court documents describe
Investigators say four people came to the home in the early morning hours of Dec. 20, 2025. Two of them forced their way inside. The documents say residents were threatened with guns.
Family members said May was asleep when the door was kicked in. Amber May, his aunt, said he woke up confused. She said he did not know what was happening.
Mugshot: Arthur Campbell.
Arrest and charges
Police records list Arthur Campbell, 21, as a suspect who entered the home. Police also list a 16-year-old juvenile as an accomplice. The juvenile’s name is being withheld because of age.
Court papers say Campbell later told investigators he fired the shot that killed May. Two other suspected participants have not been charged, according to the documents.
Campbell appeared in court on Dec. 23, 2025. His bail was set at $4 million. He is charged with second-degree murder. His next court date is set for Feb. 9, 2026.
Charges are allegations. Campbell is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
Family remembers Bryson May
Relatives said May leaves behind six siblings. His siblings called him loving and dependable. They said he often ended talks with, “I love you.”
The family said May lost his father when he was 10 years old. Relatives said his siblings helped raise him. Amber May said the family finds comfort in that loss. She said she believes Bryson is with his dad now.

That 19 year old was just a baby, this is so tragic…
I think it needs to be the highest punishment, death (swift not death row… I mean straight death).
