WARROAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Avila S. Reycel, a resident of West Palm Beach, Florida, and currently working in Warroad, Minnesota, is now facing a felony charge following a knife-threatening incident in the town. According to court documents, the incident occurred on August 17th at 1:13 a.m. when police were dispatched to McKenzie Street Northeast at 4th Avenue in Warroad.
Three men were standing outside a vehicle when the driver reported that Reycel had passed them on the left with his flashers on, stopped, and then allegedly approached their car. Reycel is accused of opening the driver’s door and making stabbing motions toward the driver with a knife. One of the passengers began recording the incident, prompting Reycel to flee to a nearby motel, where he was later arrested.
Reycel claimed that an argument at work led to the confrontation. Officers also found a knife in Reycel’s motel room, which the victim positively identified.
