Firefighters Respond Early Monday to I-29 Ditch Fire Near Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) Firefighters were called back early Monday morning for a ditch fire that reignited along Interstate-29 by Grand Forks.
firefighters called back to a grass fire along interstate 29 three miles south of grand forks early on this monday morning uh here’s the fire call at 1 28 a.m on this monday ultra top the fire altar on top thompson fire green calto mile marker 136 southbound interstate 29 for a crash now as we reported sunday afternoon this started about 2 p.m when a vehicle was southbound pulling the trailer and had a tire blow out the vehicle continued south and sparks from the wheel set the west ditch on fire here the fire was set in three different spots for approximately a quarter of a mile the north dakota highway patrol says the driver was eventually stopped the driver of the vehicle was identified as patrick maloney maloney was cited for operation of an unsafe motor vehicle i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
