FIRE NEAR RED RIVER HIGH: Dumpster Blaze Sparks Concern Near Blue Line Arena in Grand Forks

Grand Forks County (trfnews.i234.me) — We have an update on a fire incident reported late Sunday afternoon near Red River High School and the Blue Line Arena in Grand Forks. Fire crews responded quickly and successfully extinguished a dumpster fire before it could spread to nearby structures.

Eyewitnesses say the blaze was dangerously close to a building, sparking brief concern. However, thanks to a fast and effective response by the Grand Forks Fire Department, the fire was contained with no reported injuries and no structural damage at this time.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and it’s unclear whether it was accidental or deliberately set. Authorities are expected to investigate further. We’ll bring you updates if more details emerge.
