FERGUS FALLS, MN – Alyse Luetta Carlson, of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, is facing felony theft and gross misdemeanor DWI refusal to submit to testing following an incident on February 19, 2025.
According to court documents, Carlson had been drinking until 4:00 a.m. when she asked a family member for permission to use their vehicle to take a friend home. After being denied, she allegedly took the vehicle anyway.
Arrest in Downtown Fergus Falls
Carlson was later arrested in downtown Fergus Falls, where police obtained surveillance footage showing her:
- Pulling up to the M&H Station
- Getting out of the driver’s side door
The footage confirmed she was driving the stolen vehicle, leading to her arrest.
Charges and Legal Consequences
Carlson now faces:
- Felony Theft – Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle
- Gross Misdemeanor DWI – Refusal to Submit to Testing
Her case is now pending in District Court.
