Otter Tail County (trfnews.i234.me) – It’s the case of “do you want to buy some stolen stuff?” in Fergus Falls.
On the afternoon of June 7, police responded to Fleet Farm after a person attempting to buy a bicycle from a woman, later identified as Kristi A. Striker, was also offered stolen game cameras and a scope. When asked if they were hers, Striker allegedly replied, “I stole them.”
The would-be buyer walked away and called the police. Officers soon found Striker lying in the grass near Subway. When asked if she’d been at Fleet Farm, she reportedly said, “Yeah, I stole some stuff.”
A search of her bags revealed newly packaged items valued at $851, and a stolen bicycle worth $175, bringing the total over $1,000. Striker reportedly also smelled of alcohol and responded “Go f* yourself”** when questioned about consumption.
Striker now faces charges of felony theft and gross misdemeanor theft.
