Fergus Falls, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A Fergus Falls man with a prior domestic violence conviction is facing two gross misdemeanor charges after a disturbing incident at his home involving his wife and daughter.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Otter Tail County, Scot William Ullyott Jr., 31, allegedly kicked his wife, threw a beer can and an apple at her, and threatened to drag his daughter by her hair during a violent outburst on June 22, 2025.
Officers responded to the couple’s home on East Gustavus Avenue, where Ullyott was reportedly intoxicated. His wife, T.U., told police she woke him for dinner and he began shouting threats, throwing objects, and displaying a knife, claiming he might throw it at her. He also kicked her in the leg “boot style,” she said, and his daughter tried to intervene.
Ullyott admitted to a heated argument but downplayed the incident. However, officers noted his previous domestic assault conviction from 2021 in Cass County, ND.
If convicted, Ullyott could face up to one year in jail and a $3,000 fine per count.
