Polk County (trfnews.i234.me)Richard Franklin Jackson, 55, of East Grand Forks, was granted a stayed 33-month sentence on Tuesday, June 10, for felony drug possession, meaning he won’t serve prison time unless he violates probation.

Jackson was originally charged with two felony counts of second-degree sale of a controlled substance in a school zone. One count was dropped, and the other was amended to possession, per court documents.

Police found 14 oxycodone pills and a pipe with meth residue in Jackson’s home—within one block of two schools, triggering enhanced penalties.

Instead of incarceration, Jackson was placed on five years of supervised probation. He must comply with strict conditions, including searches, DNA sampling, no weapon possession, and a full assessment.
