Felon from Roseau County Charged with Possession of Firearm

ROSEAU COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A Roseau, Minnesota man is facing a felony charge of felon in possession of a firearm.
Wan Jones of Roso is facing a felony charge of felon convicted of Crime Of Violence firearm violation and misdemeanor carrying a weapon without a permit according to court documents on February 4th a deputy checked out a vehicle parked in the middle of the road in rural Roso County Jones was the passenger and said the Glock pistol on the center dash of the vehicle was his the deputy told Jones that it was not legal to carry a loaded firearm without a permit to carry Jones indicated the firearm was not loaded the deputy cleared the firearm and there were 89 mm bullets in the black 17 round Glock magazine that was inserted to the firearm with no bullet in the chamber it was determined that Jones has a felony out of the state of North Carolina uh conviction for controlled substance crime Jones admitted that he was a felon and acknowledged that he is not to possess a firearm he said he purchased the firearm in North Carolina I’m Neil Berg reporting for in trfnews.i234.me
