GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Raymond Lee Graham Jr., 36, is facing federal charges after an arrest in Grand Forks County revealed a trove of drugs and an alleged firearm.
Initially charged with multiple crimes, Graham fled from police during a traffic stop, leading to the discovery of 1.2 pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine-coated marijuana, empty baggies, fake urine, and THC vape pens in his vehicle.
A firearm was also allegedly found on him. The case, originally filed in district court, was moved to federal court where Graham, a convicted felon with a history of robbery, now faces up to 15 years in prison for illegal possession of a firearm.
During a recent hearing, the judge ordered Graham to remain in custody until a suitable re-entry placement is found. His jury trial is set for September 24.
