Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 2 Near Grand Forks Airport Claims One Life

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A North Dakota Highway Patrolman tells TRF News that 1 person was killed in a major, multi-vehicle crash on Highway 2 by the Airport on this Friday morning. Authorities are asking you to stay away from the area as roads are closed.
the breaking news out of grand forks on this friday morning we’ve had a major multi-vehicle accident this is in the uh eastbound lane of highway 2 uh near the entrance to the airport in the construction zone uh here’s the part of the emergency traffic at the 7 35 a.m on this friday thompson fire we have an injury accident at highway 2 and airport road we have a semi that struck six to seven vehicles there are people trapped we also have a subject laying on the roadway now as you heard in the initial emergency call a semi hitting a vehicle started a chain reaction that’s not confirmed yet exactly what caused this accident but a camera person on the scene says uh maybe close to 20 vehicles involved in this uh that’s not confirmed yet but kind of a chain reaction uh crash out here uh by airport road and highway two just talked with sergeant macleod of the grand forks police department who’s asking people to stay out of the area the roads closed anyway so you’re going to have to find a different route around highway 2. eastbound lane is shut down again multiple vehicles and injuries and a crash here by uh airport road by the airport entrance on highway 2 on this friday morning check back for updates i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
