North Township Highway 32 Crash Turns Fatal
North Township, Pennington County (trfnews.i234.me) — A two-vehicle crash on Highway 32 was reported as fatal Sunday evening.
The crash happened at about 5:55 p.m. on September 20, 2026.
It occurred south of 183rd Street Northeast in North Township.
The location is in Pennington County, south of the Thief River Falls area.
Two Vehicles Collide on Highway 32
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions.
A 2022 Buick Envision was traveling north on Highway 32.
A 2016 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling south on the highway.
The two vehicles collided near 183rd Street Northeast.
The State Patrol classified the incident as a fatal crash.
The report did not identify which vehicle occupant died.
It also did not provide additional information about injuries.
Drivers From Red Lake Falls and Newfolden
The Buick was driven by a 31-year-old woman from Red Lake Falls.
The Chevrolet was driven by a 68-year-old woman from Newfolden.
The drivers’ names had not been released in the latest crash report.
The report said the Buick driver’s information would be released at noon Monday.
The Chevrolet driver’s information was scheduled for release at 5 p.m. Monday.
Airbag deployment information was listed as unknown for both vehicles.
Road Was Dry at Time of Crash
Authorities reported that the road was dry when the crash occurred.
Several emergency agencies responded to the scene.
They included Pennington County deputies, Thief River Falls police and firefighters, and Sanford Ambulance.
The crash report was last updated at 12:33 a.m. on September 21.
