The Fargo Fire Department said crews were dispatched at 12:58 p.m.
The call came in as a report of a vehicle fire.
The location was the 1200 block of 28th Avenue North.
When firefighters arrived, they found a vehicle on fire.
They also found a person inside the vehicle.
The person was removed right away, Fargo Fire said.
The man was then determined to be deceased.
Officials described him only as an adult male.
Crews kept the fire contained to the vehicle.
The flames were put out shortly after crews arrived.
The vehicle was a total loss.
