Fargo Shooting Leads to Attempted Murder Charge
FARGO (trfnews.i234.me) — A man faces four felony charges following a May shooting in a north Fargo parking lot.
Eric Lucian Yeanee Dubar was charged Tuesday in Cass County District Court. He remains in custody at the Cass County Jail.
The charges include attempted murder, reckless endangerment, unlawful firearm possession, and terrorizing. Court filings connect the case to an incident reported on May 23.
Prosecutors Allege Gun Threat
The shooting happened near the 1400 block of 12th Avenue North. Prosecutors allege Dubar took a major step toward killing another person.
They also allege he threatened that person with a firearm. The attempted murder count is listed as a Class A felony.
The charging document states that a conviction carries at least four years in prison. Parole would not be available during that minimum term.

Three Other Felony Counts Filed
Dubar also faces a Class B felony count of reckless endangerment. Prosecutors say his actions created a serious risk near a vehicle.
The alleged conduct placed one or more people at risk of injury or death. Authorities say Dubar had a firearm during the incident.
Two Class C felony counts were also filed. Those charges involve unlawful firearm possession and terrorizing.
The firearm count alleges Dubar could not legally possess a gun. Prosecutors cite an earlier felony conviction in Minnesota.
The terrorizing count alleges Dubar used a gun to threaten another person. The alleged threat caused that person to fear for their safety.
Case Remains in District Court
The Cass County State’s Attorney’s Office is prosecuting the case. Court information is available through the North Dakota Court System.
