Task Force Makes Minneapolis Arrest
The U.S. Marshals Service North Star Fugitive Task Force arrested Allen at about 12:30 p.m. on June 24.
Fargo police announced the arrest later that day.
Authorities have not released full details about Allen’s alleged role in Holmes’ death.
Police plan to provide more information during a news conference.
The conference is scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday, June 25.
It will be held at Gateway Commons inside the Fargo Police Department headquarters.
The headquarters is located at 105 25th Street North.

Holmes Killed in Downtown Fargo
Azeem Holmes was killed during a downtown Fargo shooting on August 3, 2025.
Court testimony has linked the case to an escalating conflict between two Fargo groups.
Investigators identified the groups as associates of the United Blood and Black Disciple Nations.
Those claims were discussed during court testimony earlier this year.
Allen was also named during a January court hearing about the reported conflict.
Detectives described a growing rivalry between the two groups during that hearing.
Police Cite Possible Retaliation
Another Fargo homicide case was discussed during the same January hearing.
C’Aundre Douglas was accused of the shooting death of 20-year-old Elijah Hughes.
Hughes was killed in South Fargo, according to police.
Investigators said that the shooting may have been retaliation for Holmes’ death.
The allegations involving Allen and Douglas have not been proven in court.
Both men are presumed innocent unless convicted through the court process.
Updates may be posted by the Fargo Police Department.
