Fargo (trfnews.i234.me) — A Dec. 8 traffic stop in Fargo led to three arrests, police say.

Police say officers stopped a vehicle around 2 a.m. in the 3100 block of Fiechtner Drive.

Police say the vehicle matched one tied to a reported vehicle break-in earlier that night.

Why police stopped the car

Police identified the driver as Jeffrey Johnson.

Police say Johnson’s driver’s license was suspended.

Officers then used a K-9 for a narcotics search, police say.

What police say they found

Police say the dog alerted to drugs.

Police say officers found suspected fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.

Police say they also found multiple stolen credit cards inside the vehicle.

Police say they recovered a Hyundai key fob tied to a recently stolen vehicle.

Three arrests listed

Police arrested Johnson on suspicion of fentanyl possession.

Police also arrested him on suspicion of drug paraphernalia possession.

Police arrested passenger Jackson Mulder on several theft-related counts.

Police say Mulder was a person of interest in package theft cases in north Fargo.

Police listed possible charges tied to stolen cards and identifying information.

Police also listed a suspected stolen vehicle charge.

Police say more charges are pending review by the Cass County State’s Attorney’s Office.

Police arrested a second passenger, James Caswell.

Police say Caswell was arrested for suspected drug paraphernalia possession.

Police say Caswell also had a Cass County warrant for unpaid fines.

Stolen vehicle found

Police say they located the stolen vehicle linked to the key fob nearby.

Police did not release the vehicle’s exact location.

Police say the victims were notified about the recovered credit cards.
