Exploring Grand Forks: A Guided Tour

everyone the old Carlson with eye news here on a Saturday afternoon special happening right now Grand Forks North Dakota got the scanner going if anything happens we’ll uh head out to that nothing in particular happening right now footage of uh Grand Forks streets in the summertime sometimes that we can’t make it to the scene right away we can at least show you where uh things are happening a real View able heading up uh North Third Street now gonna take a left go down University Avenue past the University of North Dakota another mile down the road to the left foreign heading west on University Avenue towards the University of North Dakota all we’re going to do here is Let’s Make a quick trip down University Avenue basically simply file video stock video and even up around the curve here is the red pepper you’ve probably been there coming up to Washington Street South Street and if you’re just joining us should have put on that title there Grand Forks North Dakota right on the border of Minnesota Red River separating us again just a quick little uh live tour down University Avenue so I have some uh stock footage of this Street during the summertime and we’re starting to come up to the campus of the University of North Dakota in the rainforce right is a park velocity car show on the right is a fraternity sorority Road coming up to Columbia Road another town north Memorial Union on the left and University Drive here has been redone in the last gamma firehouse on the right sorority going up over the English Cooley with the Chester Fritz Auditorium over on the left and dining complex on the right except the dormitories behind it now on your right if you went to school here on the new door new to West and McVeigh dorms where they were torn down and dorms put up here Stanford Road foreign Nationwide Aviation and we’re gonna cross 42nd Street right here we have another Northwest street that dissects Grand Forks and overpass going up over I-29 [Music] runs north and south from Canada all the way through North Dakota take it down to Omaha a few weeks so that’s it nothing too exciting sorry it’s collecting a little video of the University Avenue in Grand Forks I’m Neil Berg reporting for inews.
