Neil Berg here in grand forks early on a saturday morning looking at a little storm damage after a thunderstorm rolled through grand forks about 10 20 p.m friday national weather service says a top wind gust of 67 miles per hour just south of grand forks and a little less than an inch of rain drop this is on the 600 block of 19th avenue south winds strong enough here to topple a large pine tree tipped it over in this yard on top of a power line around town we had calls for one two three four about five different places where trees or tree branches fell on power lines 7 15 south 17th street officer on cena’s asking for assistance there is a downed power line there we have made excel aware of it but for the most part just some uh small branches and twigs to clean up in uh yards across greater grand forks on this saturday as a storm with winds nearing 70 miles per hour dropped around an inch of rain in grand forks late friday evening in grand forks i’m Neil Berg reporting for eye news dot tv
