Grand Forks County (trfnews.i234.me) – We have breaking news out of Grand Forks on this Thursday evening. A fire broke out at an apartment complex located on the 2400 block of 36th Avenue South, prompting a swift evacuation of all residents.
Video arriving just after 8:00 p.m. shows emergency crews on the scene, with fire personnel working to ventilate the smoke-filled building. According to on-scene reports, by 8:10 p.m., residents were being allowed back inside, indicating that the fire had been extinguished.
Firefighters could be seen entering with large fans to clear out remaining smoke. The full extent of the damage and the cause of the fire have not yet been released. We’re checking with fire officials and will update as more information becomes available.
