Emergency Response in Grand Forks: Burst Pipes and Trailer Home Fire

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A couple of calls for the Grand Forks Fire Department on this Tuesday afternoon. We had a broken water pipe at an apartment and fire at a trailer home.
a Grand Forks fire Crews called out for a couple of different calls on this uh Tuesday afternoon at uh 5 p.m. they’re still at 2451 36 Avenue South Autumn Ridge Apartments just talk with the fire department they had a uh water pipe a water fire suppression pipe break in that building not sure if it’s because of cold weather or whatever but they’re cleaning up some water damage there uh then earlier this afternoon at 2:31 p.m. they were called to a mobile home fire at 2446 Cumberland Road uh report of a dryer fire at a mobile home Crews arrived on scene and encountered a small fire near the dryer and quickly extinguished the Flames there was some extension to the space under the home but damage from the fire was limited smoke was removed from the structure and residents along with their pets were able to remain in their home the cause of the fire was determined to be accid accidental in nature due to an issue related to combustibles coming in contact with heat tape I’m Neil Berg reporting for I trfnews.i234.me
