POLK COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – An East Grand Forks woman, Tracy Ann Hangsleben, 49, made her initial court appearance on Thursday, Nov. 7, facing four felony drug charges. These include first-degree controlled substance sale and conspiracy to commit first-degree sale, which carry potential maximum sentences of 30 years. Minnesota’s sentencing guidelines recommend 56 to 150 months for these charges.
Additional charges against Hangsleben include second and third-degree sale of controlled substances. According to a probable cause statement, a confidential informant purchased fentanyl pills from Hangsleben on two occasions: 10 pills for $250 on Jan. 3 and 30 pills for $750 on Jan. 9. Hangsleben is also accused of facilitating another fentanyl sale between the informant and a third party.
Her next court appearance, an omnibus hearing, is scheduled for Jan. 14 at 9 a.m.
