East Grand Forks, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) – A woman is facing a felony charge of threats of violence after a disturbing confrontation in a trailer park on July 17.

According to court documents, the incident began when a child was bringing a kitten to a neighbor’s home. Marla Lynn Kaste allegedly yelled at the child to put the cat down, which sparked an argument with an adult at the residence.

During the argument, Kaste reportedly threatened to burn their house down with them inside it at night.

When officers arrived to arrest her, Kaste allegedly pulled away while yelling at them, and claimed her neighbors were “drama people” and denied making any threats.

She now faces one felony count of threats of violence in Polk County.
