On Friday afternoon, a collision in rural Polk County resulted in injuries for Chase Allen Winckler, 21, from East Grand Forks.
The accident occurred at 2:39 p.m. when Winckler’s 2008 Ford F-150, traveling westbound on Polk County Road 19 in Euclid Township, collided with a northbound 2014 Kenworth semi-truck driven by 44-year-old Jeremy Scott Rodewald of Detroit Lakes.
Winckler suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Riverview Hospital in Crookston, while Rodewald reported no injuries.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
The Minnesota State Patrol, along with local emergency services, responded to the scene.
