East Grand Forks Man Faces Major Drug Trafficking Charges After Sting Operation

EAST GRAND FORKS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Tyler John Gustafson, 37, of rural East Grand Forks, Minnesota, is facing serious drug trafficking charges following a sting operation. According to court documents, Gustafson sold 87 grams of methamphetamine to an undercover officer with the Pine to Prairie Drug Task Force in May and June.

The investigation led to a search of Gustafson’s home, where authorities seized a 9mm handgun, drug paraphernalia, and a cell phone. Gustafson is now charged with two felony counts of first-degree sale of a controlled substance, each carrying a maximum sentence of 30 years. He also faces lesser misdemeanor charges related to the firearm and driving offenses.
