a tip from a neighbor of possible drug activity in East Grand Forks has a pair facing drug charges a tipster reported possible drug activity out of a garage on the 700 block of 1st Avenue Northeast in East Grand Forks on Friday at 2:30 p.m. police were watching as a car pulled away from the garage in a license plate check show the owner was wanted for an outstanding warrant the driver andrew stenason of park river was pulled over next to the Riverside Christian middle school a prohibited drug zone his passenger was Cassie Svedberg of Grand Forks according to court documents police found meth and other drug paraphernalia in the vehicle Andrew stenason is facing felony charges of possession of a controlled substance within a prohibited zone and possession of a controlled substance along with a misdemeanor charge of driving while impaired with meth Kasey Svedberg is charged with felonies of possession of a controlled substance within a prohibited zone and possession of a controlled substance Svedberg was already on probation in North Dakota for possession of heroin and marijuana I’m Neil Berg reporting for i-news TV
