Early Friday Morning Fire Breaks Out in Grand Forks Apartment

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) Firefighters on the scene of an early Friday morning apartment fire in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Neil Berg here with some breaking news out of Grand Forks early on a Friday morning got a fire at a uh fourplex here at 1111 22nd Avenue South Fire call came in about uh 3:00 a.m. on this Friday a neighbor captured the action here as police first on the scene and other residents pounded on Windows to get everyone out of the apartment building everybody get out okay yes yep everyone has gotten out okay all right any idea what started this as of right now know they’re still looking at it uh we can tell we believe the fire they believe the fire started in the downstairs unit um as of this time they don’t know what caused it at the moment uh they’ve talked to the resident of that one who got out fine uh they’ve talked to the residents of the other one who got out fine but uh at this time they don’t have a a cause a known cause what is it that a fourplex yes it looks like it’s two upstairs and two down okay and pets got out okay yep it sounds like everyone got okay that it looks like one of the upstairs units is vacant um but the the other three had residents but they all they all made it out okay looks like they’re having a tough time getting it out of the ceiling well it’s they’ve got they’ve got it most knock mostly knocked down uh They said that the temperature’s coming back at normal but they still got smoke coming out of one of the walls so they’re going to cut part of the outside wall open to just see if there’s any uh Flames within the wall still again fire and smoke heavily damages a fourplex here at 1111 22nd Avenue South everyone got out okay uh we’ll have more details once we can talk with the fire officials I’m Neil Berg reporting for in trfnews.i234.me
