Thief River Falls ( trfnews.i234.me ) – A driver has been cited following a distracted driving incident that damaged a mailbox in Thief River Falls.
According to police, the accident occurred around 4:42 p.m. on July 29 outside 1412 Greenwood Street East. Investigators say Brylee Lingen was driving a 2022 Buick Encore when the vehicle struck a mailbox.
Lingen was cited for using a wireless communications device while driving, specifically engaging in a cell phone or video call at the time of the crash.
