Driver Arrested for DWI After Allegedly Speeding at 94 MPH in Pennington County

Pennington County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – On Nov. 16, a sheriff’s deputy allegedly clocked a vehicle traveling 94 mph on Center Street East near the intersection with 310th Avenue Northeast. Zachary Roth Dreher, 39, of Red Lake, has been charged with third-degree DWI (0.16 BAC or greater), no proof of insurance, and speeding (90/60). He was arrested.

According to the complaint, Dreher showed indicators of alcohol impairment. He allegedly admitted to consuming four or five shots of alcohol at work. Dreher failed field sobriety tests and registered a preliminary breath test of 0.169 BAC.

The vehicle allegedly contained an empty bottle of Jim Beam found under the driver’s seat and three empty flasks discovered in the driver’s door. A subsequent DMT test recorded a BAC of 0.16.
