- Previous Arrest: Earlier, 36-year-old Travice Ledoux, who lacks a permanent address, was arrested for assault and robbery.
- Victim’s Condition: Sam Pikula suffered severe injuries, including multiple broken bones in his face and head, requiring a titanium plate insertion. He was assaulted while trying to intervene in a beating involving a group of six men. The incident occurred on April 6 in the 600 block of NP Avenue in downtown Fargo.
- Outcome: Pikula was hospitalized for five days and has been unable to work since the assault.
