GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – The Grand Forks County State’s Attorney’s Office has received charges forwarded against two men for their suspected involvement in a Thursday, October 24, murder. According to a press release issued Saturday afternoon, police have charged Donald Joseph Bartlette, 45, with murder and Nicholas Wride-Arnold, 35, with conspiracy to commit murder.
The suspects are believed to be involved in the death of Anthony James Kiehl, who was found unresponsive on Thursday night at a residence on Cherry Street. Despite life-saving measures attempted by medical personnel, Kiehl was pronounced dead at Altru Hospital due to injuries that were deemed suspicious.
Bartlette and Wride-Arnold were apprehended Friday afternoon and are being held in custody while the investigation remains active and ongoing. No other charges have been brought forward, and no further information is available at this time.
