Beltrami County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A St. Paul woman has been charged in connection with a 2023 burglary after DNA evidence tied her to a ransacked residence in Bemidji.

According to a criminal complaint, between February 1 and February 28, 2023, Colleen Diane Papasodora, 36, allegedly entered a vacated home at 724 22nd Street NW without permission. The homeowners, who had recently moved out, discovered the residence had been broken into and rummaged through, with missing items including two bows. A damaged sliding door was the suspected point of entry.

Police observed unfamiliar belongings and collected several items for testing. In February 2025, DNA results linked Papasodora to a jacket and a punch container left in the home. A cigarette butt at the scene matched another individual, Douglas Wind.

Papasodora’s criminal history includes multiple thefts and burglaries, including a prior felony third-degree burglary and gross misdemeanors for providing false information to police.

She now faces one count of Felony 3rd-Degree Burglary, punishable by up to 5 years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.
