Devils Lake, North Dakota (trfnews.i234.me) — A Devils Lake man is facing a felony charge after a reported domestic assault. Court records say the woman suffered serious injuries.
Charles Goodsoldier Jr., of Devils Lake, is charged with felony domestic violence involving serious injury. The case stems from a call on December 28.
Call to an apartment
According to court records, officers responded to a Devils Lake apartment for a domestic report. Goodsoldier was detained at the scene.
Records say officers reported blood throughout the apartment. The report did not identify the victim by name.
Woman later treated at the hospital
Court records say the woman later arrived at the emergency room on her own. Records describe multiple injuries.
Records say her nose was shattered and would require surgery. Records also describe a skull fracture and a broken finger.
Records say medical staff were concerned about injuries to both wrists. Records also describe stitches for cuts on her forehead.

Criminal charges are allegations. A complaint is not a conviction. A defendant is presumed innocent in court.
