MINNEAPOLIS (trfnews.i234.me) – A devastating crash occurred on Interstate 35W in Minneapolis on a fateful Friday night, claiming one life and leaving others shaken. According to reports from the Minnesota State Patrol, Gordon Warne Zieman, a 61-year-old man from New Brighton, lost his life in the accident.

The incident unfolded around 10:30 p.m., when Zieman was traveling northbound on I-35W on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Tragically, he lost control and struck the rear of a Toyota Camry driven by a 20-year-old man from Cottage Grove, who had been attempting to merge onto the highway from the right shoulder.

Miraculously, the driver of the Camry escaped without sustaining any injuries. Zieman was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, but unfortunately, it could not save him.

The Minnesota State Patrol responded quickly to the scene and advised drivers early Saturday morning to seek alternative routes as they investigated the crash. Emergency services from HCMC Ambulance, Minneapolis Fire, Minnesota Department of Transportation, Hopkins Police, and the Hennepin Medical Examiner also arrived on the scene.

This story is developing, and we will provide updates as more information becomes available.
