David John Wosick – TRF News-Obit

David John Wosick, 62, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from injuries sustained in a tragic motor vehicle accident beyond his control, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.

Dave was born on May 14, 1963 in Grand Forks, ND, son of John and Alice (Kouba) Wosick.

Dave married Crystal Webb, daughter of Rodney and Betty (Lykken) Webb, at Hope Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND on August 10, 1985. They enjoyed 40 years of marriage.

After graduating from Grafton High School, Dave attended Tech School in East Grand Forks, MN to become a mechanic. Dave went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree from NDSU in Fargo, ND.

Dave enlisted in the ND Air National Guard on June 9, 1984. He began his 35-year military career at the ND Air National Guard – 119th Wing in Fargo where he held various positions during his career. Dave completed his career with the MN Air National Guard – 133rd Airlift Wing on September 30, 2021. Throughout his years of service, SMSgt David J. Wosick enjoyed many deployments across the United States and overseas. During his career he was a full-time technician and a weekend guardsman.

Following his retirement, Dave enjoyed driving truck, helping farmers during harvest, and his grandchildren. Dave was a gifted mechanic with a well-earned reputation as a skilled handyman who generously shared his talents with friends and family. He loved spending time with his family at their Lake Lida cabin. He was incredibly proud of the life that he and Crystal built together.

Dave is survived by his wife, Crystal, Fargo, ND; his children: Grant (Lindsey) Wosick, Grand Forks, ND; Hope Wosick, Fargo, ND; Grace (Adam) Sufficool, West Fargo, ND; Miles Wosick, Grand Forks, ND and his fiancé Lauren Cain, Oxbow, ND; his siblings: Cynthia (Edmund) Kuznia, New Hope, MN; Kenneth Wosick, Grand Forks, ND; Mark (Toni) Wosick, Glyndon, MN; Donald Wosick, Grand Forks, ND; 5 grandchildren: Addison and Lincoln Wosick, Luke, Veda, and baby Sufficool.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be sent to the Hope Lutheran Building Fund and Kamp KACE (Kids Against Cancer Everywhere).

Celebration of Life: 10am, Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Hope Lutheran Church – South Campus, Fargo, ND with visitation one hour prior. The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home website.

Burial: Fargo National Cemetery – Harwood, ND.
