Alexandria – David Michael Fallon, 74, of Alexandria, died on July 1, 2024.
David Michael Fallon was born to parents Joseph and Monica (Willett) Fallon in January of 1950 in Crookston. David and six siblings grew up on the Fallon Farm in Plummer.
David graduated Pershing High School in 1968 and attended the University of North Dakota, later earning a bachelor’s degree in 1992 from Metropolitan State University in St Paul. Being an adventurer at heart, David worked a variety of jobs across the country eventually landing in St Paul. There he met his future wife Sharon Johnson and her son Mitchell. David married Sharon in 1982 and adopted Mitchell in 2005.
David was an avid outdoorsman, mountaineer, hunter, and hiker. He had a long and accomplished career building and racing motorcycles. He balanced his more active hobbies with a love of writing poetry.
David was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Tom Fallon; a sister, Beverly Fallon; and another “brother,” Dick Kooyer.
David is survived by his wife, Sharon Fallon; son, Mitchell Johnson; and daughter-in-law, Kerry Sokol; and by his siblings, Joanne (Tom) Musich, Martin (Shirley) Fallon, Donald Fallon, Bernard (Renee) Fallon; sisters-in-law, Judie Fallon and Linda Kooyer; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
David donated his body to the University of Minnesota. A celebration of David’s life will be announced in the future.
