FARGO, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – Brittany Baker, a server at Perkins American Food Company in Fargo, works weekends to support her six children. On a Saturday morning, she observed a customer taking her tip money while she was at the computer.
She confronted the customer, stating she had noticed the money being taken. The man returned $2, though Baker believes he did not return the full amount. She claims the money included a $5 bill and additional ones.
The incident was confirmed by a restaurant member, and Baker shared the video of the confrontation on TikTok, which garnered over a million views.
Baker also reported that the same customer attempted to take money from another server. She recounted how the man concealed a menu topper with money underneath and slipped it into his pocket.
The server emphasized the importance of tips, as she earns less than $5 per hour without them.
