Pennington County (trfnews.i234.me) — On March 23 at 2:33 p.m., the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report involving a violation of a Domestic Abuse – No Contact Order.

Jason Russel Johnson, 38, of Crookston, was cited for two offenses: driving while under restrictions and violating the court-issued No Contact Order. He was arrested at the scene.

According to authorities, Johnson was stopped by deputies near the intersection of 150th Avenue Northeast and Center Street West. During the traffic stop, it was discovered that a woman—who he was legally prohibited from contacting—was present, leading to the second charge.

His arrest underscores the strict enforcement of protective orders in the region.
