CROOKSTON CROOKSTON P.D RESPONDS TO WOMEN THAT COLLAPSED IN THE POLK COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER

On Thursday, at approximately 1:06 p.m., the Crookston Police Department responded to a woman who had collapsed at the Polk County Government Center.

“We had multiple officers from the police department respond to it,” said Crookston Police Department Deputy Chief Nathan Nelson, “She was breathing and alert; shortly after, the Crookston area ambulance arrived and took control of the scene. The patient was ultimately transferred to Riverview, and that was the conclusion of the police department’s involvement with it.”

Nelson also commented that this was a routine medical call. During this time, there were several other medical calls, which helped explain the many siren calls citizens may have witnessed.
