CROOKSTON ARREST/FIRE REPORT – APRIL 15, 2024

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend – 

4/12/2024

At 7:01 p.m., the CFD responded to the 200 block of 5th Ave SW for a report of a general fire alarm. Upon arrival, the CFD investigated, and no danger was present. The CFD reset the alarm, turned over control to staff, and cleared the scene.

4/13/2024

At 8:52 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Sargent St. for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that cooking had caused the alarm to activate. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the alarm and then cleared the scene.

4/14/2024

At 2:00 p.m., the CFD responded to a small ditch fire near the intersection of 120th St SW and US Hwy 75. Upon arrival, the CFD was able to contain and extinguish the fire. Once the area was deemed safe, the CFD cleared the scene.

At 3:33 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Sargent St. for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that cooking had caused the alarm to activate. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the alarm and then cleared the scene.
