Court Sentencings – Pennington County 11-5-2025

PENNINGTON COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) — The latest Pennington County Court Citation Disposition Bulletin lists several felony, misdemeanor, and traffic case outcomes for area residents this week.

John Charles Isleman, 32, of Thief River Falls, received a stay of adjudication for a felony charge of motor vehicle theft. He was given credit for 75 days served and placed on supervised probation for three years. Isleman must follow all mental health treatment plans, continue prescribed medications, and pay $3,470.62 in restitution. He is prohibited from possessing firearms, ammunition, or explosives.

Frank Anthony Kaiser, 39, of Crookston, had a felony charge of escape from custody dismissed. Yueping Wang, 69, of Thief River Falls, saw a prostitution-related charge dismissed. Erin Lindsay Ferrer, 34, of Angle Inlet, was fined $125 for speeding 60 mph in a 55 mph zone.

Thief River Falls Police Department Cases

Adam Thomas Nelson, 39, of Beltrami, was convicted of violating a protection order. He received 364 days in jail, with 304 days stayed for two years. A felony domestic assault charge was dismissed. Nelson remains under supervised probation with a no-contact order and must complete a domestic-violence intervention program.

Devin Ray Alkire, 24, Thief River Falls – driving after suspension, $285. Miles Ferdi Ardaman, 61, Thief River Falls – expired registration, $115. Ethan Cole Peterson, 21, Thief River Falls – underage drinking, $135 fine and one-year probation with alcohol assessment.

Amber Julia Arlien, 43, of Newfolden, was sentenced for DWI with a $505 fine and two years of probation. She must complete a chemical dependency assessment and any recommended treatment. Afton Michael Benoit, 21, of Thief River Falls, received a stay of adjudication for disorderly conduct and 180 days of unsupervised probation.

Kimberly Shea Brown, 50, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was fined $580 for DWI with 30 days in jail stayed for 18 months of probation. Yusuf Hussein Jama, 50, of Thief River Falls, received a stay of adjudication for driving after cancellation and must donate $100 to the Thief River Falls K9 Fund.

Kathy Joan Johnson, 68, Thief River Falls – failure to yield to a pedestrian, $185. Eduardo Jose Vasquez Espinoza, 25, Thief River Falls – driver’s license violation, $185, and failure to yield, $50.

Minnesota State Patrol Cases

Wendy Sharon Ostby, 55, of Roseau, was fined $285 and placed on two years of unsupervised probation for operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock; a no-insurance charge was dismissed. Joseph Michael Pitzer, 38, of Grygla, was fined $385 for driving without a Minnesota license and no insurance.

Other citations included Victor Antonio Rodriguez Pravia, 35, of Greenbush – unsafe passing and no driver’s license, $235 total; David Lee Sundheim, 41, of Laporte – expired registration, $115; Marquis Leshawn Leggett, 33, of Minneapolis – driving after revocation, $315; and multiple speeding fines for drivers in Thief River Falls, Goodridge, Roseau, and Lake Bronson.
