Thief River Falls, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) — A minor traffic incident occurred in the Lincoln High School parking lot in Thief River Falls on the afternoon of April 16.
At approximately 3:23 p.m., police were dispatched following a report of a vehicle collision. According to authorities, Cash Harbott of Thief River Falls was backing a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado out of a parking spot when his truck struck a 2009 Hyundai Sonata traveling south through the lot, driven by Anika Hanson, also of Thief River Falls.
Thankfully, there were no reported injuries, and both drivers remained at the scene to cooperate with responding officers. Damage appeared to be minor, and no citations were issued at the time.
Incidents like these are a common occurrence in busy school parking lots, especially during peak student dismissal hours (Lincoln High School).
