Cloquet, Minnesota – A Cloquet man is facing serious felony charges following allegations that he sexually assaulted a minor after providing alcohol to juveniles at his home.
According to court documents, the incident occurred in December at Phillip A. Petite’s residence in a Cloquet housing district known as “The Compound.” Petite allegedly invited two juvenile boys to his home and provided them with whiskey and beer.
One of the boys later reported waking up to find Petite performing oral sex on him. Horrified, the victim screamed at Petite, calling him an “effing pedophile,” and began punching him. The boy then left the house to cool off before returning to retrieve his friend, and the two left together.
A subsequent investigation uncovered DNA evidence linking Petite to the victim, with forensic results confirming his DNA on the victim’s underwear and pants. Based on this evidence, Phillip A. Petite has now been formally charged with first and second-degree criminal sexual conduct.
The case is now moving through the legal system as officials continue their investigation.
