GLYNDON TOWNSHIP, Clay County (trfnews.i234.me) — Three men were injured after a three-truck crash on eastbound Interstate 94 Tuesday night. The crash happened near milepost 7 at 9:31 p.m. on November 25. The Minnesota State Patrol released the information early Wednesday morning.

The State Patrol says a 2020 Freightliner box truck was heading east on I-94 when the driver lost control on snow and ice. A 2020 Freightliner Cascadia then collided with the box truck. A 2024 Kenworth tractor, also eastbound, struck the rear of the Cascadia moments later. All three vehicles came to rest along the roadway. No other vehicles were listed in the crash report.

Road conditions were snowy and icy during the crash. Troopers note that winter weather played a major role. The crash report is available through the
Minnesota State Patrol website. Officials say the information is believed to be complete.

The driver of the Freightliner Cascadia, Robert Mark Levasseur, 64, of Alexandria, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to Sanford Hospital. Seat belt use was listed as unknown.

The driver of the Kenworth tractor, Heath William Bridges, 58, of New Underwood, South Dakota, also had non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to Sanford Hospital. Seat belt use was listed as unknown.

The driver of the Freightliner box truck, Joshua Sean Allen, 35, of Raleigh, South Carolina, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to Sanford Hospital. His seat belt use was also listed as unknown. Alcohol was not involved in any of the cases.

Clay County responders assisted at the scene. Sanford Ambulance transported the injured drivers. The Glyndon Fire Department also helped with traffic and safety. The crash caused delays as crews worked in difficult winter conditions.

The incident is listed under reference number ICR 25902247. The State Patrol posted the last update at 2:49 a.m. on November 26. Officials expect no further updates unless new information becomes available.

Drivers are urged to slow down on snowy highways. Rear-end crashes increase when roads turn icy. Current travel and weather updates can be found on the
Minnesota 511 system.
