CHISHOLM, St. Louis County (trfnews.i234.me) — A driver was hurt in a rollover on Highway 169 in Chisholm.

The crash happened at Highway 169 and Discovery Drive. It happened at about 8:46 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Troopers reported snow and ice on the roadway.

What happened

Minnesota State Patrol reports a 2004 Ford F-150 was headed north on Highway 169. The truck spun out on the highway. It slid onto the shoulder. It hit a snow drift and rolled over.

Only one vehicle was involved. No other injuries were listed in the report.

Driver identified

The driver was Krista Lynn Sikes, 38, of Hibbing. Troopers said her injuries were not life-threatening. She was taken to Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing.

Troopers reported she wore a seat belt. Airbags did not deploy. Alcohol was not suspected.
