GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Grand Forks Police responded to a chaotic scene at the Winterland Apartments on Monday night, involving a large group of juveniles and an apparent knife threat. The incident occurred on the 4200 block of 5th Avenue North, just north of the University Avenue overpass over I-29.
According to Sergeant O’Neal, officers were met with a large group of juveniles yelling at police. Although a knife was collected as evidence, no injuries from the knife were reported. Video footage from the scene around 9:15 p.m. shows juveniles driving past police, making obscene gestures, and yelling obscenities. The situation remains under investigation, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
